    July 29, Edogawa

After securing a berth in the semi-final of KCL in their debut season in the previous match itself, the Tokyo Falcons beat Serendip in their last league match to come second in the group. Batting first Serendip was 179 all out in 35 overs. But they had their moments when they reduced the Falcons to 20/3 inside 4 overs. But the untimely arrival of rain set the Falcons a target of 159 in 27 overs which they achieved with 7 wickets to spare in the 24th over.

    Serendib:179/10 (35 ov).
    Falcons: 159/3 (23.5 ov).

  4. Men In Blue C.C Vs Pakistan Stars C.C
    July 22, Edogawa

A score of 243/6 by the Men In Blue was too much for the Pakistan Stars to chase under the hot sun with just 7 players on their side. MIB won by 101 runs.

    MIB: 243/6 (35 ov). Abhishek 46, Sanket 63, Thouseef 46, Bala 39*.
Pakistan Stars: 142/7 (all out, 24 ov). Rasheed Rana 40.

  5. Pakistan Stars C.C Vs Falcons C.C
    July 16, Sano 1

A decent 260 powered by a lower order surge contributed by skipper Rashid Wadood and Junaid did not stop the powerful Falcons from chasing the score down in 35 overs for the loss of only 6 wickets. A good start of 78/2 in 10 overs by the Stars was not capitalised by the middle order but the 8th wicket partnership of 60 runs between the skipper and Junaid gave some respectability to the total. However, an explosive century by the Kuldip Bisht (100 off 53 balls) and his partnership of 112 runs for the 3rd wicket with Sagar Kamble and unbeaten half century by the skipper Sameep ensured that Falcons flew home safely.

    Pakistan Stars: 260/10 (37.1 ov). M Ather 56, R Wadood 46. S Kamble 5/40.
    Tokyo Falcons: 261/6 (35 ov). S Kamble 48, K Bisht 100, S Dawar 51*

What appeared to be heading to a massive total in the initial overs turned out to be just a storm in the tea cup and the Engineers successfully chased a moderate target set by the Pakistan Stars. PS was cruising at over 10 runs per over in the opening overs with powerful hits by Rashid Rana but the Engineers brought things under control with the introduction of slow bowlers. Pavethy Nath was declared the Nirvanam Man of the Match for his 4/14 and 25 runs while chasing.

Pakistan Stars: 154/10 (27.2 ov). Rashid Rana 50, Pavethy Nath 4/16, Vinay Iyer 3/14, Bidyut Sarkar 3/22.
    I Engineers: 157/6 (29 ov). Prashant Kumar 36, Rashid Wadood 3/28.
